A new catalogue is out: austro-hungarian army in the upper soča region

In 2016, the Austro-Hungarian defence of Bovec region was presented with a temporary exhibition »Austro-Hungarian Army in the Upper Soča Region, I - 25. 5. 1915 - 23. 10. 1917«. Three years later, in 2019, the journey in the trenches continued in Mt. Krn region with a temporary exhibition »Austro-Hungarian Army in the Upper Soča Region, II - 25. 5. 1915 - 23. 10. 1917«. This year's temporary exhibition, »Austro-Hungarian Army in the Upper Soča Region, III - 25. 5. 1915 - 23. 10. 1917«, which is on view until October 2023, brings a conclusion to the opus of the exhibitions on this theme by presenting events in Julian Prealps region, in the area of Mt. Mrzli and Mengore and Cvetje hills. On this occasion, the author of all the three exhibitions, Željko Cimprič, has prepared a summary of the exhibitions with chosen photos in a form of a catalogue with a title »Austro-Hungarian Army in the Upper Soča Region«. The catalogue was published by Kobarid Museum and is available in the museum shop in Slovenian, Italian, German and English language. The price of the catalogue is 8,90 €.
