Museum is open again from 13 february 2021 on!

We inform you that The Kobarid Museum will be open again from 13 February 2021 on. Museum is open according to its winter schedule every day from 10:00 to 17:00.

We hope that the coming spring will encourage you to visit the wonderful Soča Valley, where in Kobarid in our museum we are preserving and presenting the heritage of the Isonzo front. We implemented all the safety measures according to official regulations to prevent the spread of COVID-19 virus and make the visit of the museum safe. During the visit, it is mandatory to wear a facemask.

We kindly invite you to visit our new temporary exhibition “29 Months of Fights along The Soča”. Author of the exhibition is curator of The Kobarid Museum Jaka Fili and designed by Barbara Bogataj Kokalj. Due to the pandemic, we were not able widely present our new exhibition, which was opened in October 2020. The exhibition is very interesting because it gives complete chronological overview of causes, events and consequences of the Isonzo front in the Great War. You can visit the temporary exhibition free of charge.
