Rescue in Soča valley

Dear guests!

We would like to invite you to commemorative event at the 80^th anniversary of the crash of B-24 Liberator bomber under Mt. Krn and the rescue of its crew. The event, that will take place in Kobarid museum on Friday, 5. September 2025 at 18.00, will be in Slovenian and English language with translation. At this opportunity, we will also open the temporary exhibition “Rescue in Soča valley”. The event and the exhibition were both prepared in collaboration with relatives of the crew member, Bill Petty.
