Touristic season in Soča valley is slowly ending and as every year we are going to diversify ever longer and longer autumn and winter evenings.

On Tuesday, 10. 10. 2023 at 19.00, you are invited to Grad Kromberk, where Goriški muzej will host our coworker and author Željko Cimprič, who will present the book Zgodbe na Poti miru together with editor Petra Svoljšak.

On Friday, 13. 10. 2023 at 18.30 you can find us in Redipuglia, where we will open our exhibition 29 months of fights along the Soča in Museo Multimediale della Grande Guerra.

On Saturday, 21. 10. 2023 you are invited on a traditional event – the Day of Kobarid Museum.

On Tuesday, 24. 10. 2023 at 18.00 you are invited to a conversation at 106th anniversary of the mosque in Log pod Mangartom. Our guests will be prof. dr. Nedžad Grabus, Zdravko Likar, doc. dr. Miha Šimac and dr. Hikmet Karčić.

At the end of October, we will start with a series of traditional events – museum evenings. The first evening will be on Friday, 27. 10. 2023. At 18.00 we will host a Dutch author Theo Toebosch, who was charmed by Kobarid and his history. After many returns to Kobarid, encounters with locals and discovering local history has written a book, entitled Kobarid.

On Friday, 10. 11. 2023 at 18.00 there will be a presentation of the book Užaljeno maščevanje. The book will be presented by its authors Marta Verginella, Oto Luthar and Urška Sterle.

On Friday, 24. 11. 2023 at 18.00 we will host an exhibition, which was made by dr. Uroš Košir in collaboration with Gornjesavski muzej Jesenice. After the opening of exhibition, entitled Med vojno in mirom: vojaška dediščina Vršiča in okolice, our guest, dr. Košir, will have a lecture on this topic.

There is a varied programme in front of us, which will continue also in December and January. You will be informed about all ‘events that are to come.
